BANK “ROSSIYA” Successfully Completes Migration to In-house Processing Centre

On September 18, BANK “ROSSIYA” completed an ambitious project to migrate its bank cards to an in-house processing centre. Until now, the Bank has used third-party processing services on an outsourcing basis. Successful completion of the project enables the Bank to provide a qualitatively new level of service to its plastic card holders, guaranteeing secure storage of client data and rapid processing of all transactions even at peak times.

The priority objective during the migration was to make the transition as seamless as possible for the Bank’s clients, while simultaneously expanding the range of services it offers.

The new technology means that remote account management can be introduced in the very near future. In addition, the Bank plans to greatly expand its bank card product range by issuing, for example, cards with grace periods and co-branding products.

In-house card processing heralds a major optimization of the way in which the Bank interacts with its corporate clients: prompt crediting of funds to plastic cards under payroll projects, a flexible approach to bank charges, and comprehensive loan programmes for staff of BANK “ROSSIYA” client companies.
